HopeWorks was founded by Sanaah Pande, a 17-year-old with a heart deeply rooted in service and gratitude for our nation’s veterans. Coming from a proud military family, Sanaah’s respect for those who wear the uniform runs generations deep.
Â
Her great-great-grandfather served in World War I as part of the British Imperial Army. Her grandfather went on to serve as an Officer in the Indian Army, a veteran of three wars. Today, her mother continues that tradition of service as a member of the U.S. Air Force Reserve. Growing up surrounded by stories of sacrifice, courage, and dedication, Sanaah developed a strong belief that freedom comes at a cost—and that it is our duty to honor those who paid it.
Â
With this conviction, she founded HopeWorks, a nonprofit dedicated to caring for veterans beyond what traditional benefits may provide. Too often, veterans who have given so much find themselves without access to the advanced dental care they need, or struggling under the weight of unexpected financial hardships. HopeWorks bridges that gap.
